Love is in the air for Kapuso star and comedienne, Lovely Abella. Besides her blooming career, Lovely admitted she also has a blooming love life with her boyfriend, Benj Manalo. Her boyfriend is the son of “Eat Bulaga” host, Jose Manalo. Benj also happens to be an actor and has done projects under the Kapamilya network.

GMA network did a one-on-one interview with the actress last October 15. During the interview, Lovely admitted that working for different networks hasn’t been an issue between her and Benj. In her exact words,
“Nagtutulungan kami, actually, kapag may mga character talagang ganito sinasabi niya ganito plakado, ganito gawin mo. Tinuturan niya ako, ‘yung kahit magkaiba kami ng network nagtutulungan pa rin kami,”
Furthermore, she added that being on different networks means they get to focus on their respective careers as actors.
“Okay lang kasi, focus siya sa kaniya, [tapos] naka-focus ako sa akin, may space.”

Last January 2018, the couple celebrated their 3rd anniversary. This led to asking if they already have plans on getting married. Lovely joked and said that they have no wedding plans because there hasn’t been any proposal yet. She added by saying that she is currently focused on her career and that it will happen at the right time.
“Hindi naman ako nagmamadali.”
During the course of the interview, Lovely emphasized that she has already found “the one” through Benj.
“And alam ko na siya na. Siyempre, tayo choice natin kung sino ang gusto natin makasama. Kung ayaw natin yan puwede, pero kapag choice mo, tatanggapin mo kung anong klaseng tao yan eh and I think talagang siya na. So waiting na lang ako.”

Lovely Abella is currently part of the long-running comedy show of GMA called “Bubble Gang.” Prior to it she also had projects like “Madam Chairman” and “Wowowin.”
